I’m a writer, editor, and writing teacher. My work has appeared in The New York Times, Glamour, VICE, Vulture, NBC News THINK, and more. I cover a range of topics, but I’m especially passionate about celebrity culture, movies/TV, relationships, and mental health. I’ve published personal essays, reviews, reported features, crowdsourced trendpieces, and more, and I’m always game to try something new.
I teach writing classes for Gotham Writers Workshop and Redbud Writing Project, and I’m also available for both 1:1 consulting and college essay editing, as well. I’ve also spoken about non-fiction writing and my career journey to college and grad school classes at NYU, Emerson College, and more.
Speaking of which… I graduated from Emerson, where I studied Writing, Literature, and Publishing. Originally from New York, I now live in Raleigh, North Carolina with my husband, our adorable dog, and her very temperamental cat older sister.
